The Council of Al-Hawija Polytechnic College held its first open session for the academic year 2026 / 2027.

The Council of Al-Hawija Polytechnic College held its first open session for the academic year 2026 / 2027. under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College, Professor Doctor Omar Khalil Ahmed, and in the presence of all members of the council. His Excellency also welcomed the new assigned assistants to the dean and heads of scientific departments. The council presented the totality of topics, and the most important of them were:

• Discussing the most important of what came in the themes of the Northern Technical University Council.

• Discussing full preparations to receive the academic year 2026 / 2027.

• Working in the spirit of one team to provide the university environment, preserve it, and maintain it.

• Preparing all supplies related to the departments, classrooms, and laboratories, and adhering to ministerial timings for the new academic year and all instructions related to this matter.

• Urging the teaching staff to exert more efforts within the framework of scientific research, publication in reputable journals, and supporting and motivating the research effort in the institute.

• Enhancing scientific activities of a social nature and public benefit, opening up to society, and absorbing activities aimed towards providing and developing capabilities.

• Encouraging student activities in the college, in addition to athletic and artistic activities, and supporting and motivating those activities in all departments of the college.

And at the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean directed the highest expressions to the members of the council, wishing them continuous health and safety.
